Ridgway Ambulance Corporation receives grant
Elk County Community Foundation gives grant to Ridgway Ambulance Corporation
Representatives from the Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) recently visited the Ridgway Ambulance Corporation to present the organization a grant of $4000 from the Rose E. Heindl Family. Rose’s husband Denny presented the check and remarked, “The Community Foundation is a great way to honor your loved ones and support the community in their memory”. He went on to praise the work of the Ridgway Ambulance Corporation for their 24/7 services and the awesome service that they provide for the community. “Not all rural communities are so fortunate to have such organizations”, Denny commented. The grants will be used for the upkeep and maintenance of their Polaris Off Road Vehicle and other needs of the organization.
