The Elk County Community Foundation is known for giving scholarships and grants to other non-profits in Elk County and surrounding communities, but that is not our business. Our real business is helping people, families, groups, and businesses be philanthropic or charitable. We provide the administrative and investment management services that make it easy for donors to accomplish their charitable wishes with their tax deductible donations and to improve the quality of life in our communities.
We gather dollars from donors and build permanent community savings funds.
We grow these funds by sound investment policies that protect the principal.
From these funds, we give grants to area non-profits to support community needs.
