Michelle A. Campbell Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The Michelle A. Campbell Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund, administered by The Elk County Community Foundation, recently awarded $2000 to Emily Catalano. Emily was a 2017 graduate of Ridgway Area High School and is attending Edinboro University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Michelle Campbell, the number one student in her nursing class, was dedicated to helping others and learning to be the best nurse she could be. Pictured with Emily (sitting on the right), are Michelle’s sister, Candy Frey (Standing) and her mother, Joyce (sitting on the Left).  Michelle’s family established this scholarship in her memory.
