Multiple grant opportunities now available at Community Foundation

The Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) invites eligible organizations to apply for grants that are now available through the current granting cycle. Grant applications are open for the Elk County Commissioners/ECCF Partnership grants with a deadline of July 1, and the Elk County Development Fund and Harrison & Muriel Dauer Stackpole Fund with a deadline of July 15.

The Elk County Commissioners, in partnership with ECCF, will be awarding $100,000 in grants through Elk County’s portion of the funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. County-wide 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations are invited to apply for this second round of grants with a deadline of July 1 for applications. Applications can be found on the Community Foundation website at www.elkcountyfoundation.org.

In addition, thousands of dollars in grants are currently available to 501c3 organizations, municipalities, and faith-based organizations through the Harrison and Muriel Dauer Stackpole Family Fund and the Elk County Development Fund. Applications will be accepted through July 15for each of these funds. More information on the funds, instructions on how to apply, and grant applications can be found on the Elk County Community Foundation website.

The Harrison and Muriel Dauer Stackpole Family Fund is an open grant that supports worthy projects that provide services for the residents of our communities. Their goal is to support causes and projects that improve the quality of life in our local area.

The Elk County Development Fund supports community development initiatives that will enhance the economic and community wellbeing of Elk County. Projects should include activities that are innovative and have a plan to sustain themselves.
