Community Foundation receives its over $1Million Estate Gift

The Elk County Community Foundations(ECCF) received over $1.25 miollion dollar estate gift form Zita Sicheria to benefit the St. Boniface Church and School. Recently the first distribution was held a the Community Foundation office. On had were representatives from the Church, Elementary School, ECCSS system, the ECCF Board the Law Firm who has overseen the distribution of the will.

Jake Meyer and Brad Kraus of Meyer, Wagner, Brown and Krause Law firm has helped to administered the estate. Zita donated a good portion of her assets to the ECCF to establish the Frank and Josephine Sichari Family Fund in honor of her parents. The Fund will be for the sole purpose of support to her church and catholic education in her community.

The money will be used to create an endowment that will provide and annual gift to the church and the school, along with a donation for tuition assistants for student attend the school. Zita was born in Toby the daughter of Frank and Jospehine DiPre Sicheri. She had two sisters and two brothers who pasted before her and she was the last of her immediate family. She died in Dec of 2016.
