Elk County Farm Bureau
The Elk County Farm Bureau is a local organization that is also affiliated with the state and national Farm Bureaus. The organization represents farmers and rural families continuing the tradition of farming. They provide education and review legislation that concerns the farming industry and they provide support for their members. This scholarship is available to seniors graduating from Elk County Catholic, Ridgway Area, Johnsonburg Area, and St. Marys Area High Schools. However, students outside of Elk County may be eligible for this scholarship if they are the child or grandchild of an Elk County Farm Bureau Member. Also students must be enrolled in the field of agriculture or any related field at a post-secondary institution. A GPA of 2.5 is required. Candidate must demonstrate financial need and have documented community service. Applications are available through the guidance counselor’s office of each school.
